Surfers Baseball

Little League Rookie

In Little League Rookie, a modified version of baseball is played where coaches pitch to their own teams.

Official strikes, balls, or outs are not counted, allowing all players to bat through the lineup. After 4-5 missed pitches, the batter is allowed to hit from a tee.

As the season progresses, teams may choose to play with three outs and rotate innings, which prepares them for Little League Majors.

For safety and confidence-building, a softer and smaller ball is used instead of a standard baseball. Teams usually have 8 to 9 players, ensuring active participation and skill development, with players changing positions each inning.
