Our local competitions, training and state & national tournaments are played in accordance with Baseball Australia, Baseball QLD and Gold Coast Baseball Association rules & policies. All registered players are required to pay compulsory capitation fees for the period 1 September to 31 August each year.
Club fees are invoiced separately to the capitation fees. The Club fee is set by the committee prior to the beginning of the season and differs between age group.
The Club fees are utilised to supply umpires, provision of baseballs, payment of water and electricity, ground & building maintenance and presentation day trophies. A percentage is allocated to the club's future fund to cover the cost of new equipment and major upgrades.
The day to day running of the club is managed by a small group of dedicated volunteers. For more information on the clubs committee please click here: Executive Committee
Surfers Baseball Club does not have dedicated teams for girls or boys. Both our Junior and Senior programs are designed for both females and males to play in the same teams.
Baseball is a great sport to start playing at any age whether you are 4 or 44.
Our club is always on the lookout for new coaches, umpires and scorers. Each of these important roles are vitally important to ensure the continuation of volunteer sporting competitions and clubs.
Please contact the clubs Committee for more information.
