ADULT BASEBALL Greater brisbane league
The Greater Brisbane League (GBL) is the largest baseball league in Queensland, covering teams from Brisbane North, Metro, South, West and the Gold Coast. The competition is managed by the GBL Competition Committee, a volunteer sub-committee of the Baseball Queensland Board elected by the GBL clubs.
Our Club enters two teams in the GBL competition in Division 1 and Division 2. We also submit a junior team in the U20’s competition.
This high-level baseball competition is very competitive and entertaining running for 18 weeks, plus finals series. Division 1 games are broadcast on YouTube on our SPBC TV channel, hosted by Club Member, John Reimers. CLICK HERE TO WACTCH.
Division 1 teams play on a Friday evening at 7pm under lights and then on a Sunday at 2pm. Division 2 play at 11am on a Sunday, the prelude to the Div 1 game at 2pm.
The current Division 1 & 2 teams in the GBL competition are:-
Redland Rays, Pine River Rapids, Pine Hills Lightening, Surfers Paradise, Windsor Royals, Coomera Cubs, Carina Reds, Padres, Beenleigh Hawks and Wests Bulldogs.
Senior level baseball for experienced players.
WHEN: Every Wednesday from 4:30pm.
WHERE: At home Diamond 1 and Batting Cage.
