Surfers Paradise Baseball Club caters for all ages of junior baseball from 4 years old through to under 16 Senior League baseball, with teams entered into the Gold Coast Baseball Association competition.
Baseball summer season commences on Saturday 12 October 2019, and runs through to the end of March, with a break over Christmas holidays.
Tee Ball and Rookie Ball games are played on Saturday mornings from 9am as various field locations across the Gold Coast.
Little League games are played on Saturday mornings from 8:30am at various field locations across the Gold Coast.
Junior League games are played on Saturday mornings from 1:00pm at various field locations across the Gold Coast.
Senior League games are played on Saturday afternoons at 3:00pm at various field locations across the Gold Coast.
Draws are released at the beginning of the season from Gold Coast Baseball Association. All team schedules can be viewed via the club’s Team App.

Under 8 Tee Ball
Date of Birth: 1 September 2012 – 31 December 2015
Tee Ball is one of the most rewarding games available for young children! And it is FUN! The game teaches basic skills like throwing, hitting, catching and running. Skills which the children can use later on to play whatever sport they like. 1-hour game time.
U10 Rookie Ball
Date of Birth: 1 September 2010 – 31 August 2012
Rookie Ball helps children of all abilities to enjoy and learn baseball. Games are played with players hitting from batting tees and from the coach pitching. 1-hour game time.
U12 Little League
Date of Birth: 1 September 2007 – 31 August 2010
Little League is the first competitive age divisions. 1 hour and 45 minutes game time. Players are eligible for selection in the Gold Coast Baseball Representative team.
U14 Junior League
Date of Birth: 1 September 2005 – 31 August 2007
Junior league continues to progression of baseball development. New rules are introduced where runners can “take leads”, but can also be “picked off”, and “balks” are introduced. 1 hour and 45 minutes game time. Players are eligible for selection in the Gold Coast Baseball Representative team.
U16 Senior League
Date of Birth: 1 September 2003 – 31 August 2005
In Senior League, the full rules of baseball apply, with games played on a full-size field. 1 hour and 45 minutes game time. Players are eligible for selection in the Gold Coast Baseball Representative team.
Teams are formed by SPBC committee and division coaches. Specials requests to play with friends in the U8 and U10 divisions must be submitted to email@example.com. Little League, Junior League and Senior League teams are competitive divisions with teams formed after player evaluations. Team rosters will be announced early October.
Club Night is Tuesday from 4:30pm to 6:30pm. All ages.
Additional team training sessions on weekday afternoons from 4:30pm to 6:30pm by qualified coaches.
Schedules will be available in the club’s team app.
Our club like every other youth sporting organisation relies on volunteers to help with the smooth running of the club and games days. Training will be provided for all our volunteer positions.
