Surfers Paradise Baseball Club caters for all ages of junior baseball from 4 years old through to under 16 Senior League baseball, with teams entered into the Gold Coast Baseball Association competition.
Baseball summer season commences on Friday 12 October 2018, and runs through to the end of March, with a break over Christmas holidays.
Tee Ball and Rookie Ball games are played on Friday afternoons from 4:30pm. Game locations will be at Surfers Paradise Baseball Club, Nerang Cardinals Baseball Club or Runaway Bay Baseball Club.
Little League games are played on Saturday mornings at 8:30am at various field locations across the Gold Coast.
Junior League games are played on Saturday mornings at 10:30am at various field locations across the Gold Coast.
Senior League games are played on Saturday afternoons at 12:30pm at various field locations across the Gold Coast. *Note – there maybe the occasional 8am game time.
Draws are released at the beginning of the season from Gold Coast Baseball Association. All team schedules can be viewed via the club’s Team App.

Under 8 Tee Ball
Date of Birth: 1 September 2011 – 31 August 2014
Tee Ball is one of the most rewarding games available for young children! And it is FUN! The game teaches basic skills like throwing, hitting, catching and running. Skills which the children can use later on to play whatever sport they like. 1-hour game time.
U10 Rookie Ball
Date of Birth: 1 September 2009 – 31 August 2011
Rookie Ball helps children of all abilities to enjoy and learn baseball. Games are played with players hitting from batting tees and from the coach pitching. 1-hour game time.
U12 Little League
Date of Birth: 1 September 2006 – 31 August 2009
Little League is the first competitive age divisions. 1 hour and 45 minutes game time. Players are eligible for selection in the Gold Coast Baseball Representative team.
U14 Junior League
Date of Birth: 1 September 2004 – 31 August 2006
Junior league continues to progression of baseball development. New rules are introduced where runners can “take leads”, but can also be “picked off”, and “balks” are introduced. 1 hour and 45 minutes game time. Players are eligible for selection in the Gold Coast Baseball Representative team.
U16 Senior League
Date of Birth: 1 September 2002 – 31 August 2004
In Senior League, the full rules of baseball apply, with games played on a full-size field. 1 hour and 45 minutes game time. Players are eligible for selection in the Gold Coast Baseball Representative team.
Teams are formed by SPBC committee and division coaches. Specials requests to play with friends in the U8 and U10 divisions must be submitted to firstname.lastname@example.org. Little League, Junior League and Senior League teams are competitive divisions with teams formed after player evaluations. Team rosters will be announced early October.
Weekday afternoons from 4:30pm to 6:30pm by qualified coaches.
Schedules will be available in the club’s team app.
Our club like every other youth sporting organisation relies on volunteers to help with the smooth running of the club and games days. Training will be provided for all our volunteer positions.
